Meet Delta Waters, RN
Nurse Delta spent her 25-year career focusing on geriatric and hospice specialties. Now, she is pivoting her talents AWAY from healthcare writing entirely and TOWARDS creative non-fiction.
Delta has a B.A. in Creative Non-fiction Writing/English from Colorado State Univiersity.
She enthusiastically spent class time and her extracurricular efforts throughout junior high and high school reporting stories for the school newspapers, working as the editorial page editor and taking A.P. college journalism courses thinking journalism was her future career jam.
Delta also saw the value in bringing compassion to support others during times of illness and vulnerability, eventually choosing nursing as her career venue at the turn of the century.

At the same time, with the dawn of the World Wide Web, she created a (now retired) wellness blog for women over 40 and wrote other content for the hungry baby internet.

In addition, she is a Reiki practitioner and holistic health champion. Delta lives in the Land of Enchantment state of New Mexico with her wire-haired border terrier, JoJo.
